JOB TITLE: Copy Clerk WAGE/HOUR: Exempt/Professional
REPORTS TO: Campus Principal PAY GRADE: 2
DEPARTMENT: Elementary/Secondary DAYS: 187
ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Under general supervision the Copy Clerk is responsible for providing efficient and accurate copy and print services
within a fast-paced office environment. Support the administrative team by duplicating and reproducing documents,
reports, and other materials as requested. The Copy Clerk will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail,
excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines. This
position requires proficiency in operating copy machines, printers, and related equipment, as well as basic computer
skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training in copy/print
services is a plus.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of work experience
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other
relevant software applications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Perform copy and print tasks according to established procedures, ensuring high-
quality reproductions of documents, reports, and other materials.
- Maintain and operate copy machines, printers, and related equipment, including
troubleshooting minor issues, performing routine maintenance, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Organize and prioritize copy and print requests, ensuring timely completion and delivery
to appropriate departments or individuals.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and legibility before reproducing them,
taking appropriate measures to correct any errors or deficiencies.
- Follow confidentiality protocols to safeguard sensitive and confidential information during
the copying and printing process.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing materials
for shipment
- Assist with document filing, archiving, and record keeping ensuring easy retrieval and
maintenance of records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide excellent customer service to address inquiries,
clarify copy/print requests, and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including ensuring proper storage and disposal
of printed materials and supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to copy and
print services, recommending improvements or enhancements as appropriate.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.
