Muck Rack is seeking an experienced Event Manager to support the planning and execution of the Generative Pulse Summit 2026. This role will provide critical administrative and production support to ensure a seamless and successful Summit including event production, speaker manager, and onsite showrunning and room management. This contractor will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Events & Partnerships and cross-functional teams to manage logistics, communications, and on-site execution.
What you'll do:
  • Project Management
    • Manage and update tasks in project management platform, ensuring timelines and deliverables stay on track
    • Maintain accurate documentation across all event workstreams
  • Registration & Data Management
    • Support registration tracking and reporting
  • Speaker Coordination
    • Provide administrative support for speaker communications
    • Assist with outreach, scheduling, and collection of speaker releases
  • Run of Show (RoS) Management
    • Maintain and update the master run of show with all relevant event details
    • Ensure alignment across stakeholders on timing and programming
  • Budget Tracking
    • Keep the event budget document up to date
    • Track expenses and flag variances as needed
  • Website Coordination
    • Compile and communicate daily website updates to Engineering
    • Ensure event information is accurate and current
  • Vendor & Venue Coordination
    • Liaise with venue and external vendors to support logistics and execution
    • Assist with contract deliverables and day-to-day coordination
  • Event Production
    • Support logistics planning
    • Support design and decor production
    • Support A/V production
    • Support registration setup and administration
  • On-Site Execution
    • Oversee room management and session logistics
