OVERVIEW

This position provides you the opportunity to learn and gain experience while contributing to the delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project Administrator, you will:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to assigned project personnel; performing work that is varied and generally administrative or project oriented.
  • Be responsible for performing daily office tasks such scanning, indexing, filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting and other similar duties; assist with documents, workbooks, and presentations for the use of the team.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects upon requests; a certain degree of flexibility and creativity is required.
  • Accurate and timely data entry and records management in designated systems.
  • May handle confidential and/or sensitive data and information, as needed.
  • Maintain essential documentation within document imaging systems; files and indexes per defined standards and ensure data retention and information systems are updated and maintained appropriately.
  • Provide service to project personnel including Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), Safety and Quality personnel, as well as Craft leaders and owner representatives.
  • Embrace technological innovations and continuously seeks to improve processes and best practices.
  • Professionally represent BMWC to employees, customers and third parties.
  • Perform, with care, any control-related activities required as a function of the position.

EQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office; Excel, WORD, Outlook.
  • Strong service orientation and highly organized; detail oriented
  • Effective time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously
  • Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate supervision and effective in a team setting
  • Effective communicator and problem solver
  • Proactive compliance forward thinking mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen required.
