As a compliance administrator, you ensure that your organization adheres to all regulatory statutes as well as any internal best practice guidelines. You train management and employees on the kinds of regulations and practices required, administer and support investigations into regulatory failures, and may be responsible to making suggestions and updates to internal procedures to secure greater levels of compliance. A career as a compliance administrator requires you to have some formal qualifications and education, typically at least a bachelor’s degree in business, government, or a related field. Organizational and presentations skills are a must for this job, as you communicate to different audiences their duties relative to industry compliance and standards.
