Job Summary:
Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services. The Deltek Costpoint Administrator is responsible for the daily systems administration, support, and optimization of the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, ensuring its effective operation to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily administration of Deltek Costpoint
• Maintain user accounts and role-based permissions within Costpoint
• Provide front-end user support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical problems promptly
• Manage system security and data integrity
• Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
• Design and develop custom reports using Costpoint Business Intelligence (Cognos)
• Create dashboards and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and maintain custom Costpoint components including screens, processes, reports, extensibility units (or extensions) and integrations using supported Costpoint development frameworks
• Customize Costpoint configuration settings and workflows to align with specific business requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage system integrations with other applications
• Provide comprehensive technical assistance to end-users on Costpoint functionalities
• Document procedures and create user guides for reference
• Lead Costpoint upgrades and implementation projects, including post-migration optimization
• Collaborate effectively with IT and financial teams to ensure successful system updates and integrations
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Deltek Costpoint Administrator, with deep knowledge of Costpoint modules and Extensibility Designer functionality
• Proficiency in front-end Costpoint operations, including user interface navigation, job processing, workflows and report generation and Cognos reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with users at all organizational levels
• Solid knowledge of database concepts and in particular the Costpoint data schema as well as SQL or other database management tools is a plus
• Proven ability to manage system transitions and integrations
• Experience with Deltek Time & Expense (TE) and Cognos reporting systems
• Ability to write design specifications, test scripts, and user documentation
• Understanding of ERP system integration and business process alignment
Preferred:
• Prior Government Contracting Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• Hands-on experience with Java Web Token (JWT), Web Hooks and REST JSON services
• Experience with Dela to enhance the end user experience and provide tier 0 support
