Job Description
Seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support procurement and subcontract management activities for specialized materials, equipment, production, and sustainment programs across multiple contract types. This role is responsible for developing subcontract specifications, preparing and reviewing proposals, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for procurement activities
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate subcontract proposals and supporting documentation
  • Support subcontract negotiations, contract administration, and supplier communications
  • Conduct cost and price analysis to support procurement decisions
  • Ensure subcontract activities comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), company policies, and contractual requirements
  • Manage subcontract documentation, modifications, renewals, and closeout activities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including procurement, finance, legal, engineering, and program management teams
  • Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution activities
  • Process and manage high-value subcontract agreements with key suppliers and defense industry partners
  • Utilize Oracle Subcontracts Administrator or similar procurement systems to manage subcontract activities and records

Required Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract law
  • Understanding of cost and price analysis techniques
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems

Preferred Skills
  • Experience using Oracle Subcontracts Administrator or similar ERP/procurement systems
  • Knowledge of government contracting and defense industry procurement practices
  • Experience supporting high-value subcontract agreements

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of related subcontract administration, procurement, contracts, or supply chain experience
  • Experience supporting subcontract development, proposal review, or contract administration activities preferred

Education / Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience with typically 2 or more years of related work experience.
