YOUR ROLE
The compensation consultant will serve as a trusted advisor on compensation matters, leading and supporting project-based initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise compensation philosophy, governance standards, and global best practices.
What your role will look like
  • Provide consultative compensation expertise to business leaders and HR partners across a defined business segment
  • Translate business needs into practical, aligned compensation solutions consistent with company philosophy and market positioning.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives such as job architecture, market pricing, pay structures, and incentive design.
  • Provide support with global compensation programs such as salary review cycle, bonus, commission, pay equity etc.
  • Lead or support compensation workstreams for broader HR or business initiatives (e.g., reorganizations, acquisitions, workforce transformations).
  • Analyze compensation data to assess internal equity, external competitiveness, and pay outcomes.
  • Develop recommendations supported by data, cost modeling, and risk considerations.
  • Apply compensation governance frameworks to ensure consistency, compliance, and risk management.
  • Support annual compensation processes such as merit reviews, bonus programs, and salary planning cycles.
  • Partner with Finance and HR to manage budgeting, cost implications, and approval workflows.
  • Explain compensation programs, decisions, and analytics in clear, business-appropriate terms.
  • Provide guidance and tools to HR partners and people leaders to support informed pay decisions.
  • Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support global compensation practices.
  • Utilize available technology and identifying enhancements to process, data or usages which in turn facilitate efficient and scalable practices.
  • Other related projects as required.

YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
What qualifications you'll have
  • Minimum 2 years of compensation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Human Resources or a related area.
  • 5 years of job-related HR experience.
  • Knowledgeable in reward practices - specifically business partnership, benchmarking, career structures etc.
  • Familiar with tax and payroll practices.
  • Ability to work on site daily in Boston, MA (Commuter benefits, along with breakfast & lunches included !)

  • Be Computer Savvy: Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems - Workday reporting experience is an advantage

Salary Range: $87K - $162K with competitive benefits.
