Senior Compensation Consultant
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $49.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Consultant to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This high-impact role is ideal for a compensation professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic compensation guidance that supports talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning, and organizational growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare compensation expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex workforce data into actionable business recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic compensation consultant to leaders and stakeholders across the organization
- Analyze recruiting and retention challenges and recommend effective compensation solutions
- Evaluate market compensation trends and industry benchmarks
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including market surveys, turnover metrics, workforce analytics, and talent acquisition feedback
- Develop compensation strategies that support organizational goals and workforce needs
- Conduct advanced cost modeling and financial impact analyses for compensation initiatives
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and recommendations
- Identify root causes of compensation-related business challenges and implement data-driven solutions
- Partner with HR and leadership teams to support compensation planning, salary administration, and workforce strategies
- Ensure compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Extensive senior-level compensation experience required
- Healthcare compensation experience required
- Strong knowledge of compensation analysis, market pricing, and salary administration
- Demonstrated ability to provide consultative, strategic guidance to business leaders
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and costing experience
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to independently assess business challenges and develop actionable compensation recommendations
- Proficiency in Excel and compensation reporting tools preferred
