We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support our growing team. Job Summary

ย 

Responsible ย ย for completing tasks in the following functional areas: benefits ย ย administration, employee relations, training, onboarding, timekeeping, orientation ย ย and policy implementation. Performs administrative and office support ย ย activities for multiple departments. Greet all persons entering establishment ย ย in a welcoming and professional manner.

Duties

  • Responsible for multi-line phone system ย ย including answer calls, directing them to the proper personnel, and taking ย ย messages as necessaryย 
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of ย ย office activities, business transactions, and other activities
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voicemail system, personal computers
  • Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
  • Sort and route all incoming mail, answer correspondence associated with, and prepare outgoing mail
  • Perform reconciliations as assigned
  • Prepare employee onboarding documents and conduct orientation for new hires
  • Responsible for assisting the HR Manager with maintaining employee personnel records
  • Submit all new hire employment verification per E-Verify
  • Maintain employee call off log, including notifying supervisors and maintaining timesheets
  • Attend safety committee meetings in the community and be an active member of the internal safety committee
  • Assist with internal audits
  • Continued support for HR processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Requirements

Requirements, Education, Skills

  • Previous Administrative Assistant experience preferred
  • Basic HR knowledge preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Detailed oriented is essentialย 
  • Decision Making: possess the ability to make independent decisions daily, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks
  • Communications and Collaboration: collaborate with members of leadership, support personnel, and clients on a regular basis
  • Ability to compose emails, letters, documents, ย etc., professionally, using proper spelling and grammar
