Job Summary:
As the Pricing & Commission Analyst, you will own the analytical aspects associated with product costs, increases from suppliers or internal Krayden, sales prices, special costs, rebates, and tracking and subsequent payment of all variable OEM compensation plans. This includes the technical sales plans in the Americas and APAC, BDR plans, Sales Manager plans, Sales Director plans, Distribution plans, and Inside Sales plans. You will own territory alignment and ensure that sales are correctly attributed to the correct rep. You will also support resolving data issues affecting sales compensation.
Work Schedule:This is a hybrid position. New team members will be expected to work onsite 4-5 days per week during the first few months to support training, onboarding, and team integration. Ongoing schedule flexibility will be evaluated after the training period.
Job Responsibilities:
Pricing Functions:
  • Create baseline product material cost analysis
  • Create analysis of optimal sales pricing recommendations using historical and market segment sales prrices
  • Create tracking and analytical tools to determine the effectiveness of price increases when COGS increase
  • Provide analysis for pricing and cost trends to the sales and management teams
  • Track special costs from suppliers and rebates along with trends

Compensation Functions:
  • Create compensation plan records for sales team tracking at the beginning of each year
  • Coordinate with sales managers to calculate and upload baseline and budget numbers
  • Manage the process that splits sales credits between sales reps
  • Validate commission calculators
  • Manage the territory change process
  • Update the territory master logic as business needs change
  • Research and rectify data issues affecting sales compensation, including, but not limited, to margin issues
  • Make suggestions for process changes that will increase data integrity
  • Support finance team with data for commission accrual calculations
  • Implement territory boundary changes as the business grows
  • Document compensation plan details and compensation plan execution methodology
  • Proactively provide updates on compensation execution milestones, priorities, and the expectations to the sales team
  • Support the sales team with questions regarding their compensation
  • Manage the sales team map through Salesforce Territory Planning
  • Compensation related reports
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 5 to 10 years of pricing analysis or sales compensation administration experience
  • 4 to 8 years of analytical experience in sales, business, finance or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and pivot tables
  • Strong ability to validate data integrity and troubleshoot data quality challenges

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years Salesforce experience
  • Salesforce, Power BI, or related certifications
  • NetSuite experience is a plus
