Description:

  • The role is heavily focused on defining and establishing customer data governance processes across customer domains as SAP is rolled out.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with SAP tower leads during blueprinting, collaborating with Enterprise Data Governance, and ensuring governance standards are defined and implemented.
  • Working with SAP tower leads to define data requirements, partnering with Enterprise Data Governance, and collaborating with System Integrators (SI), Business Integrators (BI), and internal business and technology teams. This role does not manage people and focuses on process leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level II role targeting 4–6 years of experience. Initial ramp-up includes learning enterprise data governance practices and understanding current project status. Within the first 90 days, the resource will expand governance efforts across customer domains and support reporting and analytics alignment with SAP blueprinting. This architect sits on the strategy side and serves the analytics and value-realization layer of the project.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a transformation environment.
  • SAP S/4HANA Utilities or IS-U functional foundation
  • Provides overall responsibility for the design, development, documentation and quality of the technical architecture that will support the functional design.
  • Coordinates the design efforts of the various technical architects to ensure that the designs work together properly.
  • Strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data availability. Responsible for defining data standards and models for warehouse architectures.
