Job description

Job Summary

The Chargeback Gurus (CBG) Events Manager is responsible for executing a comprehensive tradeshow events strategy that aligns with Chargeback Gurus (CBG) business goals and enhances brand visibility. EM leads the end-to-end execution of third-party events. This role is responsible for tradeshow planning, marketing and execution, driving lead generation, generating pipeline, and delivering high-quality event experiences that support broader marketing and sales objectives. Works collaboratively with the CMO, across the marketing team and internal stakeholders to execute event communications as well as end of event analysis to determine and track ROI.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end and management lifecycle and ecosystem of CBG third-party B2B events
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive pre-event marketing/demand and post-event demand
  • Responsible for all event logistics, vendors, and key association event relationships
  • Develops and manages event budget, using data-driven insights to optimize spending and ensure each event achieves its business objectives
  • Drive onsite booth traffic, brand awareness and articulate CBGs value proposition and suite of solutions
  • Track KPIs, measure event ROI, and report results
  • Align events with broader marketing campaigns and business objectives
  • Plan, manage, and execute third-party events from strategy to post-event analysis
  • Extensive experience in managing process protocols, procedures and project management across the event ecosystem
  • Lead full event logistics: budgeting, vendor negotiations, venue sourcing, travel coordination, on-site management and post-event analysis
  • Collaborate with CMO and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Communications, Operations) to drive event success
  • Engage and enable Sales with pre-event planning and structured post-event follow-up demand generation
  • Ensures consistent branding and messaging follows corporate branding guidelines
  • Manages event/tradeshow staff, volunteers, and contractors to ensure tasks are performed effectively and efficiently
  • Support webinar(s) planning and execution
  • Ensures events are executed flawlessly, managing onsite logistics and troubleshooting any issues that arise

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years creating demand and management of B2B third-party events with measurable lead and pipeline contribution; event certification (preferred, but not required)
  • Proven experience in assessing lead generation events to determine sponsorship value and develop compelling business use case documentation
  • 4-year degree in related field (preferably Business Administration/Marketing)
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Suite, HubSpot (lead management, dashboards, reporting)

and strong process/project management proficiency

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends around events; travel rand onsite presence at events is required
  • Proven experience defining event KPIs and measuring ROI
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management written and verbal skills
  • Proven experience with event project management tools such as Monday and SharePoint
  • Experience with vendor management, vendor onboarding, and managing suppliers
  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors to ensure best rates
  • Fluency in English; strong command of event technology and marketing automation tools
