What You'll Do
Brand Strategy at Translation isn't about briefs for the sake of briefs. It's about understanding culture deeply enough to know where a brand belongs inside of it and making the case compellingly. Our strategists work across the full spectrum of brand-building: from initial positioning and audience definition to campaign strategy, cultural context planning, and long-term brand architecture. Whether you're a senior strategist who leads client relationships and shapes the strategic vision, or an emerging voice who thrives in research, insight development, and cultural analysis, there's a place for you here. And, in a world of AI-generated thinking, your vision and your voice truly make the difference in ideas that are distinct, and distinctly human.
How We Engage
We keep our process simple and intentional - because your time matters. Here's what to expect:
Step 1 - Screener Interview A conversation with someone from our Talent team to get to know you, understand your background, and make sure we're aligned on what you're looking for.
Step 2 - Department Interview A deeper conversation with a hiring manager in your area of expertise. This is where we really dig into your work, your experience, and how you operate.
Step 3 - The Decision Once both conversations are done, we make our call. If it's a fit, we bring you onto the bench - and that means something. You're in.
Step 4 - Getting Set Up If there's an immediate need, we'll have you complete the necessary paperwork right away to get you set up in our systems. If there isn't, we'll reach out when a project comes up and provide everything you need to get started at that time. This is a one-time process, and completing it upfront helps us move quickly when the right opportunity comes along.
Step 5 - We'll Be In Touch From there, we'll reach out when an opportunity aligned with your skills and experience becomes available. We'll share the details, and if the timing, availability, and rate work for you, we'll get to work!
On Rates
Rates vary based on the scope, duration, and complexity of each engagement, and are grounded in our full-time salary bands so you know we're coming to you seriously. We'll always be upfront about what we have - from there, it's yours to take if it makes sense for you. No pressure, no obligation. We just ask for a straight answer so we can keep things moving.
