Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

Docusign is looking for a Brand Strategist to serve as a key architect of our brand's long-term evolution. Working closely with our VP of Brand, you will bridge the gap between high-level market intelligence and world-class execution. You will be responsible for shepherding where the Docusign brand lives today as a category leader, to where it must go tomorrow, as a category platform owner, ensuring that every brand touchpoint is rooted in deep market insight and strategic intent. Following our award-winning rebrand in 2024, we are doubling down on our strong start and strategic positioning.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Creative.

Responsibility

Own the governance of naming and nomenclature across products and experiences, keeping documentation updated and helping teams align with our customer-first system

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing (PMM) and Product teams to help reduce messaging fragmentation and ensure standard naming guidelines are followed. Work with product, product marketing, pricing, packaging, customer success, and other teams on naming

  • Assist in the rollout and maintenance of our multi-year brand and category roadmap, supporting frameworks for brand positioning, architecture, and messaging

  • Maintain and track baseline measurements for category and brand share of voice (SOV), helping to compile insights from our tracking infrastructure

  • Assist in documentation and coordination for AI Surface Strategy initiatives across various strategic AI partners

  • Help socialize and advocate for our verbal brand identity across the organization; review cross-functional assets and partner with copywriters to ensure tone alignment

  • Help manage brand health and sentiment research projects, compiling raw data and transforming it into clear, digestible insights for stakeholders

  • Act as a bridge between high-level strategy decks and creative execution, writing briefs for the brand team to create excellent creative outcomes
