Job Summary
We're seeking a Brand Marketing Strategist to drive our mainstream market expansion strategy for snack portfolio. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing initiatives that introduce our authentic Korean snacks to broader American audiences, building brand awareness and driving retail velocity across traditional and emerging channels.
Job Description
  • Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to position snacks for mainstream American consumers
  • Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to identify opportunities and barriers in mainstream channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt brand messaging and positioning for diverse consumer segments
  • Track competitive landscape and emerging snack trends to inform strategic recommendations
  • Retail & Channel Marketing
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners including grocery, convenience, mass merchandise, and club channels
  • Create compelling sell-in materials and promotional programs to secure distribution and shelf placement
  • Develop trade marketing initiatives and promotional calendars aligned with retailer priorities
  • Support sales team with category insights, promotional toolkits, and account-specific marketing plans
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze brand health metrics, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and marketing spend allocation

  • Gather consumer feedback to inform product innovation and portfolio optimization
  • Identify and activate strategic partnerships that amplify brand reach
Qualifications
  • Required
  • 3-10 years of brand marketing experience, preferably in CPG food/snack category
  • Proven track record of successfully launching or expanding brands into new markets or consumer segments
  • Strong understanding of mainstream retail landscape and consumer shopping behaviors
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable business impact
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with marketing analytics tools
  • Budget management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Preferred
  • Experience marketing Asian or international food brands to American consumers
  • Knowledge of cultural marketing and experience connecting with diverse audiences
  • Existing relationships with retail buyers or trade marketing contacts
  • Bilingual capabilities (Korean/English) a plus
