Job description

ATAK Interactive is looking for a Marketing Strategist who can build and lead full-funnel growth strategies for B2B clients, and who understands that modern marketing strategy now requires fluency in how AI is reshaping how buyers discover, evaluate, and choose brands.
This is a mid-senior strategy role, not a channel specialist role. You'll own client marketing strategy from positioning and funnel architecture to campaign integration and performance measurement. SEO and AI Engine Optimization (AEO) are important parts of your toolkit - but so is your ability to connect paid media, content, brand, and demand generation into a strategy that drives qualified pipeline and measurable business outcomes.
If you're a marketer who thinks in funnels, not just rankings, and who's excited about the intersection of AI-driven discovery and real lead generation - this role was built for you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Client Marketing Strategy
  • Own integrated marketing strategy across key client accounts - from initial diagnosis through roadmap development and ongoing optimization.
  • Build go-to-market and lead generation strategies that align messaging, targeting, channel mix, and buyer journey into one coherent plan.
  • Serve as the strategic lead in client relationships - translating data into executive-ready insights and long-term growth recommendations.
  • Lead workshops and strategy sessions that connect marketing performance to business outcomes, not just traffic metrics.

Build Modern Demand Generation Frameworks
  • Develop cross-channel demand generation strategies that blend organic visibility, paid acquisition, and content - mapped to each stage of the buyer journey.
  • Partner with ATAK's Paid Media team to ensure search, social, and retargeting campaigns work as a unified system, not siloed tactics.
  • Guide testing, conversion optimization, and measurement strategies that connect creative, landing experience, and channel performance into one growth narrative.
  • Ensure lead gen funnels are optimized from awareness to conversion across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging AI platforms.
Drive Visibility in Search & AI Ecosystems
  • Develop strategies that increase client presence across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot).
  • Integrate SEO best practices - including semantic structure, entity optimization, and structured data - into broader content and visibility strategies.
  • Build reporting frameworks that track both traditional KPIs (MQLs, CAC, ROAS) and emerging metrics (AI inclusion rate, share of generative voice, entity authority).
  • Stay ahead of where search and AI discovery are heading, and translate that into practical, client-ready strategy.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with ATAK's SEO, Paid Media, and Content teams to build unified client roadmaps.
  • Work with other specialists and help elevate the team's strategic thinking - not just execution.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging tools, automation workflows, and data layers that improve client performance.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • You are, first and foremost, a marketing strategist. You know how to diagnose a business's growth challenges, build a strategy that addresses them, and communicate that strategy clearly to clients and internal teams. Channel expertise supports your strategy - it doesn't define it.
  • You have at least 1 year of prior agency experience.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, ideally within an agency or consulting environment. You've led multi-channel engagements, not just optimized individual channels.
  • You understand the full marketing toolkit, including:
    • Demand generation and full-funnel lead gen strategy
    • Paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads) - enough to direct and integrate, not just delegate
    • Content strategy and brand positioning
    • Marketing analytics and reporting (GA4, HubSpot, Looker Studio, Databox, or similar)
  • You have meaningful SEO and AEO experience. You understand how organic visibility, structured data, entity optimization, and AI-driven discovery work - and how they fit into a broader marketing strategy.
  • You've worked with B2B clients or lead generation-focused brands and understand pipeline, MQLs, and how marketing connects to sales outcomes.
  • You communicate exceptionally well. You can run a client strategy session and write a crisp exec summary.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with AI tools as part of your workflow (research, content strategy, competitive analysis)
  • Familiarity with AEO/GEO concepts and emerging AI search behavior
  • Background in agency environments with multi-client account management
  • Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce from a strategy/reporting perspective

Benefits
Salary range for this role is $80,000-95,000
ATAK also offers a full benefits package, including unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k with 5% match, and paid maternity/paternity leave.
Why ATAK Interactive
ATAK Interactive is a RevOps and marketing agency built on the belief that structure drives growth. Our clients count on us to not just keep up with change - but to lead it.
If you're the kind of strategist who looks at an AI-generated summary and wonders, "Why isn't my client's brand mentioned here?" - this is your opportunity to help rewrite the rules of modern marketing.
