New York, NY • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Job description

Contract type: Full time | Permanent
Location: New York area (Remote)
We're looking for a Brand Strategy Manager to join our growing Studio team.
The opportunity
This is a mid-level role for a sharp strategist who loves the intersection of culture, content, and commerce. Reporting into the Senior Director and working alongside Sales, Creative and Production, you'll turn client briefs into clear, compelling responses and help shape the products and ideas we take to market.
You'll own day-to-day strategy work: leading on briefs, contributing to pitches and supporting some of Pubity's biggest client moments. It's a brilliant chance to grow your strategic influence inside a fast-moving, globally relevant business.
What you'll do
Briefs and pitches
  • Lead the strategic response on briefs of varying size, working closely with Sales to produce clear, on-brand answers at pace.
  • Build persuasive presentations and pitch decks that bring ideas to life for clients and agencies.
  • Support renewals and upsell conversations by spotting strategic angles that add measurable value.
  • Apply measurement frameworks so we can clearly show campaign impact and keep raising the quality of our work.

Products and innovation
  • Help package Pubity's offerings around tentpole moments (for example, Super Bowl, Valentine's Day, World Cup, Coachella) and contribute to scalable, evergreen products.
  • Bring fresh ideas for campaign formats that keep us distinctive in the Gen Z and youth-culture space.
  • Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney and Perplexity) to speed up insights, ideation and deck production.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with Creative, Production and Sales to keep our strategies joined-up and client-ready.
  • Partner with regional teams so messaging and positioning stay consistent across markets.
  • Manage your own workload well - juggle several briefs at once, hit deadlines and keep quality high under pressure.

Who we're looking for
You're a confident mid-level strategist who enjoys turning briefs into clear, well-told ideas. You've got a strong commercial instinct, love social media and Gen Z culture, and you're ready to grow your strategic remit with the support of a Senior Director.
You'll have
  • 4-6 years' experience in campaign strategy, brand partnerships, integrated marketing, or a media or creative agency role.
  • A solid track record of responding to client briefs and contributing to winning pitches.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, you can build a deck that lands.
  • A good understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and what resonates with Gen Z and youth audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney or Perplexity.
  • Comfort working with data and performance metrics to shape and improve creative work.
  • Good project management skills, you keep things on track without being asked.
  • A collaborative, team-first approach and strong interpersonal skills across teams and time zones.
  • Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint or Google Slides, Excel and modern collaboration tools.

Bonus points for
  • Experience on US and international campaigns, and an understanding of the US media and brand landscape.
  • Knowledge of entertainment, sports and cultural tentpoles and how brands use them commercially.
  • Familiarity with social-first publishers and the creator economy.
  • Understanding of media performance analysis and optimisation frameworks.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

Why join us
  • The chance to work on some of the most exciting brand briefs in the industry at a pivotal moment of growth.
  • A direct line into an experienced Senior Director, with real space to grow your strategic influence.
  • A creative, collaborative culture with real ownership and impact.
  • Career development
Pubity Group is committed to fostering equal opportunities within our organisation. We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce at every level, and we warmly invite all community members to pursue openings with us.
