Job description

UPSHOT Baltimore is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and experienced Graphic Designer & Game Presentation Coordinator to join our Zawyer Sports team. This dynamic position is ideal for someone with strong visual design skills and a passion for delivering unforgettable in-game entertainment. The ideal candidate is both a creative problem-solver and a strategic show-runner, able to balance visual branding with the energy of live event production in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Graphic Design
  • Design a wide range of creative materials including social media graphics, marketing campaigns, print collateral, web assets, and in-arena visuals.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all content while incorporating feedback from the marketing team and Zawyer management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital and social media strategies with a focus on visual storytelling.
  • Assist with social media posting and collecting content
  • Build and manage newsletters, email campaigns, and website content updates.
  • Support partnership and ticketing departments with presentation decks and promotional materials.
  • Manage photography software to keep assets organized.

Game Presentation & Event Production
  • Serve as the Game Director for all Baltimore home games - overseeing and executing every element of the in-arena fan experience.
  • Lead all game day operations including scripting, music, video board content, LED displays, promotions, ceremonies, and timing.
  • Implement and manage all ticketing, group sales, and corporate activations
  • Coordinate production of video and LED content in collaboration with the arena's technical staff and production team.
  • Plan and execute theme nights, fan appreciation events, opening night festivities, playoff games, and special ceremonies.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal departments, the arena (technical/stage/ops), and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Create and manage sellable in-game inventory that aligns with team branding and sponsor needs.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in live game presentation or event production, preferably in professional or minor league sports.
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio.
  • Familiarity with game day presentation systems is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) required.
  • Experience managing a team and coordinating live productions under pressure.
