Job description

Company description
At Elliptic, we believe cryptocurrency will play a huge role in the future of value transfer, and we care deeply about helping to build this future. In order for cryptocurrency to flourish, it's important to prevent criminal abuse of the technology. Elliptic is the global leader in detecting, preventing, and pursuing criminal activity in cryptocurrencies. Our clients include the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, financial institutions and government agencies.
Our unique platform gives us an unparalleled understanding of cryptocurrency capital flows, using a combination of network science and machine learning to aggregate and interpret vast quantities of transaction data. We provide anti-money laundering (AML) compliance software and investigative services to the leading participants in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Customers rely on us to analyse more than $150bn of their transactions every month, and include cryptocurrency businesses, major financial institutions, and federal government agencies.
The company has a presence in London, UK, New York City, Singapore and Tokyo. We are backed by SBI Group, Albion VC, Octopus Ventures, SignalFire, Paladin Capital, Santander InnoVentures, and Digital Currency Group.
Are you a skilled writer who thrives on coordinating complex projects across multiple stakeholders? Do you want to play a critical role in winning high-value contracts for a fast-growing fintech scale-up? Are you excited about translating complex technical products into compelling, compliant proposals that win business from governments, banks, and global enterprises?
The impact you will have:
You will be the backbone of Elliptic's bid management function, directly influencing our ability to win and retain high-value contracts across banking, government and enterprise sectors. Every proposal you manage represents a significant revenue opportunity and strengthens Elliptic's position as the leader in blockchain analytics.
You will work as part of the Revenue team, reporting to Scott Phillips (Bids and Due Diligence Lead), and collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, InfoSec, Intelligence, and Customer Success teams. As we expand our presence in the USA, your role will be essential in scaling our response to RFPs, security questionnaires, and government tenders whilst maintaining the quality and consistency that sets Elliptic apart.
What you will do:
  • Manage the end-to-end response process for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and government tenders from receipt to submission (with a focus on the US Private Sector market)
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, InfoSec, Intelligence, and Customer Success to gather accurate, timely responses
  • Write, edit, and ensure compelling, compliant proposal content tailored to each client's requirements
  • Maintain and continuously improve our response library and knowledge management systems
  • Translate complex technical product capabilities into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences
  • Manage multiple concurrent opportunities with competing deadlines, prioritising effectively
  • Enhance standardised templates, processes, and best practices to improve efficiency
  • Track metrics on bid success, response times, and process improvements
  • Support due diligence requests from customers and prospects

What you will achieve in the first 6 months:
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Elliptic's tools, use cases and target markets.
  • Successfully manage 20 RFPs and security questionnaires from intake to submission
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, InfoSec, and Sales teams
  • Audit and enhance the existing response library with 50+ new or updated responses
  • Reduce average response time for standard security questionnaires
  • Develop new proposal templates tailored to key vertical markets
  • Track bid win rates so the team can provide metrics to senior leadership
  • Enhance standardised processes for kickoff meetings, stakeholder coordination, and quality review

You will be a great fit here if you:
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Are passionate about learning new topics and concepts
  • Are a natural coordinator who knows how to get the best from subject matter experts
  • Can translate technical jargon into clear, compelling narratives
  • Are proactive and anticipate problems before they arise
  • Work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and can structure complex information
  • Have a growth mindset and continuously look for ways to improve processes

Our ideal candidate has:
  • Proven experience managing RFPs, RFIs, or formal bid responses in a B2B technology, SaaS, or fintech environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
  • Understanding of compliance, security, or due diligence requirements (financial services, government, or regulated industries)
  • Experience with bid management tools and knowledge management systems
  • AI fluency is essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience using AI tools to enhance writing quality, accelerate research, generate response drafts, and improve process efficiency. You should be comfortable evaluating AI outputs critically and integrating AI into daily workflows to maximise productivity whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.

Bonus Points for:
  • Experience working in a scale-up environment with rapid growth
  • Familiarity with private sector and government procurement processes and tenders
  • Previous experience in fintech, blockchain, cybersecurity, or compliance technology sectors
  • Knowledge of RFPIO, Responsive, or similar bid management platforms
  • Experience with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Background in technical writing, solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering
  • Track record of winning competitive, high-value bids

Benefits: USA benefits include competitive health insurance, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, professional development budget, remote work flexibility, and share options.
We know Diversity and Inclusion is much deeper than just hiring, but it's important for us to mention it here. We welcome and embrace individuals of all backgrounds and identities at Elliptic, and this is an ongoing priority for us. We know incredible people don't all think in the same way. We want to be challenged every day. We believe our diverse team of individuals underpins this by bringing creative thinking and innovation to Elliptic every day. We are committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace, so we welcome applications from everyone, even if you may not think you fit all of the requirements of our roles. We foster an environment of psychological safety, where everyone feels comfortable to bring their whole self to work.
