Job description

Title: Construction Bid Coordinator (Miami)

The Bid Coordinator supports the preconstruction team in responding to RFPs by coordinating subcontractor pricing, organizing scope, and preparing clear, professional client presentations. This role is focused on accuracy, speed, and presentation of information that helps the team win work in high end residential, hospitality, and commercial construction.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • RFP and Proposal Support: Coordinate RFP responses from start to submission, gather required information from internal team, organize scope, pricing, schedules, and qualifications into client ready proposals, ensure all deliverables are complete and submitted on time.
  • Subcontractor Pricing Coordination: Solicit and follow up with subcontractors and vendors for pricing, track bid coverage across all trades, organize and level pricing for estimator review, maintain bid logs and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client interviews and proposals, organize content into clear and professional format, ensure consistency and accuracy of all information presented, coordinate with leadership on final presentation materials.
  • Documentation and Organization: Maintain organized files for bids, proposals, and subcontractor information, track active pursuits and status, ensure all documentation is current and accessible to the team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with estimating and project management to align scope and pricing, communicate clearly on deadlines and deliverables, support leadership in preparing for client meetings and submissions.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Experience supporting preconstruction, estimating, or proposals in construction
  • Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
  • Familiarity with RFP process, strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, proactive in follow up, able to manage multiple deadlines, professional and team oriented
