Job description

Description of the role:

The Automotive BDC Agent position at Hyman Brothers Auto Group is a vital role in our organization. As an Automotive BDC Agent, you will be responsible for managing all inbound and outbound sales inquiries and ensuring prompt and accurate responses. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be crucial in this role. We have dealership locations representing Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kia, Nissan, and Subaru.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming internet email leads and internet phone leads
  • Responsible for making outbound sold and unsold follow-up calls
  • Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers
  • Be available to respond to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner
  • Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection
  • Conceptualize and understand the psychology of internet customers and work with them accordingly to set an appointment for a proper vehicle demonstration
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other relevant tools (Hyman Bros. currently uses Elead)
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Must be able to work weekends
