Sales Engineer / Automation Sales Specialist / Account Manager
Boise, Idaho
$111,000 - $125,000 base salary + commission


Sales Engineer required to join a Global manufacturing within industrial automation. The Sales Engineer will work remotely covering Idaho, selling to machine builders and manufacturing plants to identify process improvements and deliver technical automation solutions.

This would suit a commercially driven technical sales professional who enjoys prospecting, developing accounts, understanding customer challenges and presenting practical solutions both remotely and face to face.

The Sales Engineer / Automation Sales Specialist / Technical Account Manager Role:
Manage existing and new customer relationships across Idaho
Engage with customers and prospects on industrial automation solutions, engineering products, sensors, machine vision, IIoT solutions, control panel products, etc
Selling to machine builders and manufacturing plants
Define customer challenges clearly and support the development of suitable automation solutions.
3 days customer visits, 2 days office based
Use technical product and application knowledge to solve industrial automation challenges.
Communicate with customers through web conferences, LinkedIn, phone calls and in-person meetings.
Attend customer sites for larger projects to evaluate machinery, review applications and present solutions.


Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Business Development Engineer, Account Manager, Automation Sales Specialist, Outside sales or similar
Technical sales experience, ideally within industrial automation, engineering products, sensors, machine vision or a related technical products 
Degree qualified – Engineering, technical or business related
Experience selling to machine builders, manufacturing plants or automation-led environments would be beneficial
