Mesa seeks a Project Manager that will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of utility projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and
closeout. The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, coordinates with internal departments and external stakeholders, and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking for
  • Ability to perform a broad range of project management responsibilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
  • Intermediate understanding of project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Ability to coordinate with and interface with clients, vendors, engineers, colleagues, and other electric utility
    personnel.
  • Expert understanding of project management principles and familiarity with scheduling and reporting tools.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to develop, promote, and comply with Mesa safety requirements.
  • Follows through on own commitments as well as team commitments. Leads by example.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the development of project execution plans (PEPs), including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning.
  • Manage all phases of project execution, from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, procurement, and external vendors.
  • Monitor project performance metrics including earned value, cost variance, and schedule adherence.
  • Identify and mitigating project risks and resolving technical and logistical challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Proactively communicate and promote Mesa capabilities and strengths to their assigned customers. In interfacing with potential or existing clients, listens for and seeks out new project opportunities that solves the needs of the client.
