The Work

Your primary day to day job will be performing all tasks associated with developing integrations into and out of the Workday Human Capital Management system. You will be working on multiple projects and multiple integrations at the same time.

Workday Implementation Project Delivery:

  • Collaborate to define requirements for integrations between the Workday product and other systems (outside carriers, outside vendors, internal systems and data warehouses)

  • Design, build and test the integrations with all necessary parties to insure that the integration process performs to client expectations

  • Perform data loading; write reports

  • Transform large data sets and format them to various outputs using Excel, XML, and XSLT tools

  • Knowledgeable in Object Oriented concepts

  • Knowledgeable in Web Services (WSDL, SOAP)

  • Knowledgeable in J2EE or .NET

  • Easily able to perform focused development tasks for long stretches of time

  • Ability to embrace and intake new software and features as requested

  • Ability to work in an environment where ambiguity is the norm

The Experience

  • Bachelor Degree (computer related field preferred)

  • Prior consulting experience

  • Conversion or data integration related project experience

  • Keen understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • 3+ years of integration experience

  • 2+ years of experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath

  • HRMS experience is a plus

  • BPEL experience is a plus

  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
