Overview
The Assistant Account Executive (AAE) position will report directly to the Management Supervisor while supporting all pillars of business. This role will consist of executing daily tasks in support of the account executive(s), account supervisor(s), and agency management director. The AAE will be part of the DSplus account services team working on the Toyota and Lexus business within the Growth and Retention division.
Responsibilities
  • Support in meeting preparation including but not limited to presentation building, analytics and report build out and asset aggregation.
  • Manage Tier 3 creative production and internal communication amongst teams.
  • Serve as liaison to Project Management and Creative department while coordinating and executing creative production activities and projects.
  • Support the advertising activities (creative, media, budgets, and production) for any markets that are assigned.
  • Assist the Management Supervisor in budget-management and financials projects.
  • Execute various market and media research and statistical projects.
  • Assist in processing event Co-Op submissions.
  • Assist with any other duties assigned.

Qualifications
  • Some degree of advertising agency experience is preferred as the job requires a high level of understanding of advertising principles and agency functions.
  • The position will require the AAE to build solid relations with other agency departments (Creative, Media, and Finance) to help facilitate efficient day-to-day internal operations.
  • Some client contact will eventually be involved, and an understanding of the Client's business is essential; the AAE will be required to forge positive relationships with the Clients through consistent contact and diligent client service.
  • Knowledge of integrated communications is preferred; prior experience in retail advertising and/or the automotive category is a plus, but not required.
  • The AAE post will require extensive proficiency in the use of computers and specific software.

    • Ability to keep supervisors properly informed
