Asset Management Associate (In-person Position - Pacific Palisades)


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Associate to support the management, optimization, and reporting of our portfolio assets. At Westminster Capital, you will take on the responsibility of managing the company’s real estate assets while organizing company tasks and providing connectivity between asset management and accounting departments. You will be exposed to a variety of deals and asset classes that will require expert organizational skills, analysis, and critical thinking.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

  • Assist in weekly management of 10+ real estate assets (asset classes vary).
  • Support due diligence and underwriting for acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reports.
  • Review third-party performance and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance asset performance.
  • Maintain accurate asset databases.


Lending / Financial Analysis:

  • Manage $12M+ private loan portfolio.
  • Assist in closing private loan investments.
  • Support underwriting and due diligence for loan deals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, economics, accounting, or related field.
  • 1–4years of experience in asset management, lending, investment management, or commercial real estate.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in evaluating data and creating financial models.
  • Ability to build and interpret financial models.
  • Understanding of finance and real estate fundamentals, and the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks with minimal instruction and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Interest in investments and asset management.
  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (preferred for junior candidates).
  • Professional communication skills with staff, property teams, and executives.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
