SysCom, Inc. is a dynamic, privately-owned small business that provides exceptional contracting and support services to the Federal Government, Department of Defense, and commercial clients. Established in 2011, our company specialises in delivering high-quality technical and professional support, including engineering, information technology, and logistics services. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Account Manager to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with our portfolio of clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and the successful delivery of our innovative solutions in line with their needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, developing a trusted advisor partnership.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and objectives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your assigned territory and collaborate with internal teams to achieve growth targets.
  • Manage contracts and agreements to maximise value for both the client and the company.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, preparing regular reports on account status.

Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience within the federal, defence, or technology sectors would be a distinct advantage.
