The company is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while serving as a trusted technical resource. This role is focused on understanding customer operations, providing solution-based support, coordinating with internal engineering teams, and ensuring successful implementation of equipment solutions.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide technical consultation to customers by recommending material handling solutions, equipment configurations, and application-specific products based on operational requirements.
- Manage and grow assigned OEM customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Develop detailed quotes, estimates, and proposals for equipment by analyzing project specifications, product requirements, customization needs, and associated costs.
- Review and interpret basic engineering drawings, equipment layouts, and product blueprints to support accurate recommendations and ensure alignment between customer requirements and company capabilities.
- Support custom equipment solutions by collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to define modifications, resolve technical challenges, and deliver solutions tailored to customer applications.
- Coordinate project execution by managing timelines, communicating updates, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring successful delivery of equipment from concept through completion.
- Conduct regular account reviews and customer engagements to identify improvement opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and support long-term customer retention.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, applications engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role. Engineers transitioning into sales are encouraged to apply with strong customer interaction experience and a relationship-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience working with engineering teams and the ability to understand technical requirements, product specifications, and customer applications.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, and equipment layouts.
