Job Summary

At Bureau Veritas, we operate at the center of trust for the world's most demanding industries. As a global leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) - and the global leader in aerospace certification - our work sits behind the scenes of the world's most critical aerospace and defense programs.

We're looking for someone who understands that AS9100 isn't just a standard - it's a gateway to doing business in aerospace. This role is about selling credibility, mitigating risk, and enabling clients to compete at the highest level.

That's why we're seeking a Business Development professional who already speaks this language - someone with deep roots in the aerospace ecosystem, an established network, and firsthand experience selling AS9100 certification services. This isn't about learning the industry. It's about stepping in and making an immediate impact.

What You'll Do:

This is a high-impact, market-facing role focused on driving growth within the aerospace and defense sector. You'll leverage your industry network, technical credibility, and commercial instincts to win new business and expand strategic accounts.

  • Own the full sales cycle for AS9100 and ISO certification services - from prospecting to close
  • Leverage an existing network within aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing to generate new opportunities
  • Position certification services as a strategic advantage (not just a compliance requirement)
  • Develop tailored proposals and solutions aligned to client regulatory and operational needs
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across complex organizations
  • Stay close to market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities within the aerospace TIC space
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience selling AS9100 and/or ISO certification services (Required)
  • Strong background in the aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors
  • An established network of industry contacts you can actively leverage
  • Deep understanding of TIC industry dynamics and certification processes
  • Experience competing in highly regulated, compliance-driven markets
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, consultative sales deals
  • Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with credibility
  • Experience working with or alongside accredited certification bodies (CBs)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and standard business tools
  • Hands-on exposure to ISO/AS9100 audit processes (nice to have)
  • Auditor credentials or formal ISO training (nice to have)
  • Experience competing in highly regulated, compliance-driven markets
