Advanced Loan Partner Position (LP2) / Pipeline Manager


Executive Branch Team | West Capital Lending

Location: Remote (Preference given to candidates located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area)

We’re looking for a full-time Loan Partner 2 (LP2) / Pipeline Manager who will help our applicants get mortgage-ready and support them throughout the loan process.


The Loan Partner is responsible for accurately prequalifying home loan applications, issuing and managing quality pre-approval letters, and overseeing the success of every loan in the committed pipeline.


The LP2 will work cohesively with the Lead Loan Officer, borrowers, loan processors, underwriters, Realtors, and third parties to close 95%+ of all loans on time while providing an outstanding experience from application to close. This position requires substantial cash, credit, capacity (income), collateral, communication skills, and the ability to be resourceful.

Please do not apply if you do not have at least five years of mortgage experience and direct experience working for a mortgage broker utilizing multiple wholesale lender portals, ARIVE, and LendingPad.


Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives and per-file bonuses, commensurate with experience and demonstrated expertise.

Responsibilities:

4 Core Duties & Key Measurements

Pre-Application

  • Contact all newly received applications within 24 hours of assignment
  • Thoroughly review the 1003 with borrower(s) and request necessary documentation
  • Explore all financing options before turning down a pre-approval request
  • Keep Realtor partners updated on the progress of their clients
  • Stay up to date on investor guidelines and program changes


Pre-Approve

  • Communicate pre-approval parameters to borrowers
  • Provide supplemental pre-approval documentation as needed
  • Notify the referring Realtor immediately after issuing a pre-approval
  • Expedite rush pre-approval requests
  • Flag any red flags or potential issues and provide recommended solutions
  • Dedicate a time block weekly to pre-approval outreach and follow-up


Pipeline Management

  • Expedite onboarding for newly received contracts
  • Perform a daily review to identify “hot loans”
  • Deliver weekly borrower and Realtor updates
  • Coordinate closely with processing, title companies, insurance providers, and other third parties
  • Monitor financing contingencies, appraisal deadlines, and lock expirations
  • Review Closing Disclosures for accuracy against the Loan Estimates
  • Conduct pre-closing phone calls 48 hours before closing
  • Make congratulatory funding calls to borrowers and Realtors
  • Provide post-closing support
  • Maintain detailed CRM notes and organized loan files
  • Be available after hours for urgent questions via email and text
  • Consistently exceed borrower and referral partner expectations


Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Realtors and referral partners
  • Assist with relationship management and partner communication initiatives
  • Support review collection and post-closing follow-up efforts
  • Deliver a concierge-level experience to borrowers and business partners

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Active NMLS license
  • Minimum five (5) years of mortgage experience in loan processing, underwriting, origination, loan partner, or pipeline management roles
  • Current or recent experience working for a mortgage broker is REQUIRED
  • Extensive experience working with multiple wholesale lenders and lender portals is REQUIRED
  • Proficient in DU/DO, Loan Product Advisor (LP), and major investor guidelines
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems, including ARIVE and LendingPad, is REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loan products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across branch and corporate teams
  • Completion of regulatory compliance training


Preferred Qualifications

  • Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area
  • Experience supporting high-producing mortgage teams
  • Experience managing complex income calculations and loan scenarios
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before escalation
