What is a remote pipeline manager?

A Remote Pipeline Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and coordinating pipeline operations from a remote location, often using digital tools and software. Their duties may include monitoring pipeline performance, ensuring safety and compliance, managing repairs, and optimizing workflow efficiency without being physically present at the pipeline site. This role is common in industries like oil and gas, water utilities, and construction, where pipelines need constant supervision. Remote Pipeline Managers rely on real-time data, remote monitoring systems, and communication with onsite teams to manage operations effectively.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a remote pipeline manager?

To thrive as a Remote Pipeline Manager, you need expertise in project management, pipeline operations, and a relevant engineering or technical background. Familiarity with SCADA systems, GIS software, and industry certifications such as PMP or API 1169 is typically required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills help manage remote teams and coordinate across locations. These competencies ensure effective oversight, safety, and efficiency in pipeline projects managed from afar.

Job description

Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Remote
Employment Type: FT W2 Hourly
Compensation: $25 per hour
CareTalk Health
About CareTalk Health CareTalk Health is a national virtual medical practice specializing in Clinical Process Outsourcing (CPO). We partner with healthcare organizations to build and manage patient and member populations, delivering care by video across the states we serve and scheduling approximately 20,000 patient visits per month.
About the Role
The Recruiter owns full-cycle recruiting across CareTalk Health's clinical and operational hiring needs, with a primary focus on high-volume entry-level roles and the flexibility to support additional role types - including clinical and licensed positions - as hiring volume requires. This role manages a high volume of concurrent requisitions, sources and screens candidates efficiently, and ensures every hire is a strong fit for CareTalk's fast-paced, metrics-driven, fully remote environment.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of concurrent requisitions spanning multiple role types across the organization.
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, sourcing tools, and passive outreach, building and maintaining a strong, ready-now pipeline for recurring, high-volume hiring needs.
  • Screen candidates against knockout criteria and role requirements, including technical/equipment readiness and remote-work fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across recruiter, hiring manager, and panel stages; maintain accurate candidate status and notes in the ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Extend offers, negotiate terms within approved bands, and manage the offer-to-start process, including background checks and onboarding handoff.

Licensed & Clinical Recruiting Support (As Needed)
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting for licensed clinical roles when hiring volume requires additional support.
  • Support verification of professional license status and compact multi-state eligibility for candidates in the pipeline, in partnership with clinical leadership and compliance.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation of licensure and compliance requirements for clinical candidates as needed.

Requisition & Pipeline Management
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, set realistic hiring timelines, and adjust sourcing strategy based on fill difficulty.
  • Maintain a real-time view of open requisitions, pipeline health, and time-to-fill; proactively flag roles at risk of missing hiring targets.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, pipeline volume) to leadership.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
  • Deliver a clear, professional, and timely candidate experience at every stage, especially given the volume and pace of hiring.
  • Accurately represent the day-to-day realities of each role (schedule, pace, technical requirements) so candidates arrive with the right expectations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidate questions throughout the process.

Process Improvement
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve sourcing channels, screening questions, and interview processes across role types.
  • Support building and refining ATS workflows, application questions, and interview guides in partnership with hiring managers and leadership.

Required
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including high-volume and/or entry-level hiring.
  • Experience managing concurrent requisitions across multiple role types.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse strongly preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently while proactively communicating pipeline status and risks to stakeholders.

Preferred
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, medical office, or clinical support roles.
  • Experience recruiting for remote/telehealth or virtual care organizations.
  • Comfort with, or willingness to learn, clinical licensure basics (e.g., compact multi-state licensure) to support clinical recruiting as needed.

Work Location Requirement
This is a remote U.S.-based position. Employees must perform all work physically within the United States. International work is not permitted during scheduled work hours.
Work Environment
This is a remote position and may be "on camera" at any time. This position will work from a home office, requiring reliable internet connectivity and a secure, private workspace.
Technical Requirements:
  • Computer:
    • Windows or Apple (macOS) Computer ONLY (NO Chromebooks, Linux Machines, or Smartphones)
    • Must have at least Windows 10 or macOS 14 Sonoma.
  • Hardware:
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Equivalent (Windows); Apple Silicon (Macs)
    • RAM: 16 GB
  • Headphones: Wired headphones required for optimal audio quality. (NO built-in mics)
  • Internet Speed: Meet minimum internet speed requirements (100 MBPS download speed and 50 MBPS upload speed). Must have an ethernet cable connecting computer directly into router.
  • Browser and System: Use Google Chrome with Amazon Workspaces (regardless of computer type).
  • Webcam: A webcam is required for video calls. Most laptops have a built-in webcam, which is acceptable. If your computer does not have a webcam, you will need to use an external webcam.
  • Recommended Equipment: A second monitor is highly suggested for laptop users; dual monitors for PC users.

Why CareTalk Health
  • Play a direct role in scaling a national virtual care practice.
  • Broaden your recruiting expertise across both high-volume operational roles and licensed clinical hiring, including exposure to compact multi-state licensure.
  • Join a fully remote, fast-paced team where your impact on time-to-fill and hiring quality is visible and valued.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership, with the opportunity to influence how CareTalk's ATS workflows and hiring processes evolve as the company grows.
