Position Summary:

The Supervisor of Practice Administration, APP Program, will specialize in the administrative support necessary to ensure APP success at the bedside. This role will be responsible for overseeing productivity, operations, CLP readiness, and provider management. In addition, this individual will serve as point of contact for neurology APP clinical issues.

Description of Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Monitor KPIs including but not limited to:
    1. P&L
    2. Productivity
    3. Satisfaction
    4. Retention
    5. Recruiting
  • Maintain an updated and accurate roster of the APP team
  • Ensure timely completion of APP-related compliance documents
  • Create panels for new APP go-lives
  • Manage successful client conversations, including creation of supporting materials
  • Track and push progress of APP credentialing, licensing, and privileging
  • Oversee overall APP CLP strategy and Pod readiness
  • Assist in creating training and orientation materials for supervising physicians and APPs
  • Support execution of APP legal documents (ie, EAs, ICs)
  • Identify and implement strategies for performance improvement against KPIs
  • Organize and distribute feedback for APPs and supervising physicians
  • Assist with obtaining approval for electronic medical record (EMR) access at new APP go-lives
  • Partner with scheduling team in creation and approval of APP and physician supervision schedules
  • Collaborate with Program Liaison team to ensure the following:
    1. Onboarding completion
    2. First shift readiness
    3. Coordination and communication of start dates
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements for both APPs and supervising physicians
  • Review portfolio of new and existing clients to determine suitability for APP integration
  • Additional tasks as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Potential opportunity in the future

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related fields preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare provider administration, a combination of inpatient and outpatient medicine preferred
  • Proficiency in electronic practice and health record management systems

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficient interpersonal communication skills and the ability to exercise empathy when working with hospital partners, and physicians and patients
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of standard clinical procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Ability to work independently, but function as part of a team
  • Detailed-oriented, with excellent task follow-through

Work Environment:

  • High growth fast paced organization
  • 100% Remote based environment
  • Occasional (2-4 times per year) travel to Dallas HQ as needed
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
