ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is an Am Law 200 law firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina and one of the largest law firms in the southeast. With 300 attorneys, this firm offers expertise in more than 20 practice areas and counts among its client's large national banks, successful international manufacturers, growing healthcare and technology companies, and noted retailers. ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to increased revenue and growth, the Firm has created a new role: Senior Manager of Client Services & Billing, who will be an integral part of the firm's Accounting team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversight and management of the WIP to cash cycle
  • Creating and managing processes including time entry, alternative fee arrangements and pricing, billing oversight, A/R management and collections.
  • Interface with senior leadership and attorneys
  • Supervise and support a team of 8 senior billing professionals, many with tenure spanning decades at the firm.
  • The Senior Manager of Client Services & Billing will report to the Director of Finance, whom reports to the CFO.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is in a more junior role at a larger firm, ready to advance in their oversight and leadership, OR perhaps someone in a similar role at a smaller firm, ready to oversee more revenue and a larger team (this firm is roughly around $250M in gross revenue).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Will have significant law firm billing experience
  • Vast knowledge of Aderant
  • 4 year college degree
  • Be comfortable with daily interaction and advising of firm leadership
  • Possess experience managing others

    IMPORTANT DETAILS

    Interested candidates must be willing to work in-office 5 days a week for the first year, upon which they become eligible for a hybrid schedule.
