Knudtsen Chevrolet is seeking  a Commercial and Fleet Account Executive  to join the Knudtsen family. The Commercial and Fleet Account Executive is responsible for supporting and securing commercial, fleet, municipality, and business accounts.

Summary:  The Commercial and Fleet Account Executive manages all activities in the commercial,  fleet,  and municipal sales process,  including  customer interactions, ordering, bidding,  sales, and  follow-up of business accounts.   Exhibits qualities of integrity,  willingness to be challenged,  eagerness to learn and are passionate about serving our customers, community, and future customers.   Must be a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a drive for success.

Responsibilities: 

The Commercial and Fleet Account Executive would be responsible for showcasing Knudtsen’s commercial inventory, answering customer inquiries and being a subject matter expert on vehicles and upfits.  

  • Meets and exceeds sales goals.
  • Works with the Commercial Manager to forecast aggressive yet realistic new sales goals, existing customer sales goals and expenses for managing your business portfolio. 
  • Promotes the Knudtsen brand and core values in all interactions.
  • Completes required product training in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attends weekly commercial sales meetings as directed by the Commercial Sales Manager. 
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect commercial vehicle sales. 
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients. 
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing clients to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and repeat business. 
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to maximize profitability. 
  • Takes showroom ups on commercial, fleet, and business customers as needed. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet the needs of Knudtsen clients.  
  • Offering professional, effective, and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. 
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. 
  • Participating in trade shows, training, or associated product meetings when necessary.
  • Maintains professional appearance at all times. 
  • Other tasks as assigned. 

 Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Minimum 3 years outside B-to-B sales experience.
  • 3 years’ experience developing strategies aimed at communicating with a target audience for the purpose of promoting business to business products.
  • Team player focused on providing ethical and exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales deals
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set, achieve and exceed targeted goals. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Working knowledge of computers, basic software, Internet, and ability to learn database management and customer relationships software.  
  • Possess a valid driver’s license. 
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and possess a safe driving record. 
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Also subject to random drug testing at the company’s request.
