It Support Specialist

In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining our computer systems and networks.

$17 -$25 hourly

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person, resolving their technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security checks.
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Document all IT activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in the IT field.

• Associates Degree with 2 years experience, or 4 years of experience working with advanced types of hardware and software.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and common software applications. (Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2019
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills.
• Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Office (and google workspace)
