Quest Groups Staffing is searching for a mailroom clerk to join one of opur amazing non-profit clients for a contract lasting until May 18th!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mailroom Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, as well as assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Mailroom Clerk – start asap, they will review resume and do teams interview.
- Assignment will last until May 18th
- I believe the hours are 8am-430 with 45 minute lunch. (37.50 hour work week. (potential different from normal hours there)
- Scan, sort, deliver mail and packages, data entry and filing.
- Would like to see mailroom experience.
- Teams experience (just reaching out to internal staff), Word and they will do data entry in Sharepoint
- Prepare outgoing mail for shipment, including packaging and labeling
- Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and postage machines
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with filing and organizing documents as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient mail flow
- Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus
