Mailroom Processing Clerk
Onsite: Must live in or near Springfield, MA
$18 per hour
8am- 4:30pm Monday- Friday with Overtime Opportunities

About the Mailroom Processing Clerk role
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as mailroom sorting and machine operation, high and low speed mail opening and scanning, processing, and similar activities.
You will be offered a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive team environment
Job Details:
  • Training is on the job for 2 weeks. Will need to be willing to cross train in all areas.
  • Work schedule is 8:00am but may start as early as 7:00am if production requires until 5:30pm, M-F with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
  • Sort, prepare, and scan up to 2,000 insurance claims and related documents daily.
  • Enter claim data into client systems throughout the workday.
  • Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment. (removing staples, rubber bands, repairing torn documents, copying document types, and inserting patch sheets to separate claims).
  • Deliver and collect all mail and place it into the correct locations.
  • Sort mail into department mail slots accurately for delivery in each department.
  • Receive, sort, and process mail, packages, and supplies as they arrive.
  • Scanning and operating scanning machine to rescan mail, making it legible for review.
  • Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Support daily operations by lifting boxes up to 20 lbs and moving materials with carts or pallet jacks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to complete a typing test/Please do not take typing test via phone.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, including credit check and fingerprint scan.
  • Must pass a required drug screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Basic data entry skills are a plus.

Pay is $18/hour which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,400-$36,750.
