Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Travel to other branch offices to provide in-site support or technology training.
Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts, email, and access permissions.
Collaborate with users to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assist in monitoring and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Monitor routine data backups and ensure data integrity.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Assist in monitoring policies and protocols.
Participate in audits and assessments.
Respond to requests for technical support via phone, email, or chat.
Meet with cross-functional teams to identify technology solutions that support business objectives and report back to IT leaders.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to office365, PC setup, network connectivity, software installation, and hardware maintenance.
Set up and configure email accounts for staff.
Escalate complex or urgent problems to the appropriate IT staff or vendors.
Document and track all support cases using a ticketing system.
Stay updated on the latest IT trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
