Title: Technology Support Specialist Duration: 9+ months Pay Rate: $28/hr. on w2 basis Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 8:30 AM โ€“ 2:30 PM with 30 mins unpaid lunch break Shift Hours : 30 hrs/week Description: The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for managing the school's technology resources and providing technical support to students, staff, and families. This role ensures the effective operation, maintenance, and utilization of technology across the school environment to support teaching, learning, and daily administrative functions. Responsibilities: Maintain an accurate inventory of all school-owned technology devices and equipment. Assign, track, and manage devices issued to students and staff. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner. Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of SmartBoards and other classroom technology tools. Ensure that classroom technology is fully functional, operational, and ready for daily instructional use. Provide prompt and effective technical support to students, staff, and families. Coordinate device maintenance, warranty services, and repair processes as needed. Monitor and support the overall functionality and readiness of technology resources throughout the school. Promote and facilitate the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency. The Technology Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a reliable, user-friendly technology environment that supports the educational mission of the school and meets the technology needs of students, staff, and families.
