We are seeking an experienced and creative Director of Marketing to join our team. As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and directing the marketing of Bosley products and services by performing a variety of duties individually and/or through a team of direct supports and outside agencies. This position provides strong leadership in all aspects of marketing by establishing, developing, and executing comprehensive marketing plans and programs. This role is responsible for and actively involved in research, analysis, budgeting, development, advertisement, promotions, industry trends, profit/loss analysis, production, products, campaigns, brand quality assurance/continuity, and key relationship building. The role designs, analyzes, and prepares reports directly for executive management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Oversee all digital marketing including but not limited to: paid search, paid social (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit etc).
  • Manage outside marketing agencies for digital marketing, Amazon sales, reputation management, and TV advertising.
  • Manage SalesForce Marketing Cloud functionality for customer journey and/or patient communications via email and text messaging,
  • Optimize customer journey from inquiry to scheduled consultation.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Develop and manage marketing operating budget.
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotional materials presented on texts, email, social media and direct mail.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to budget.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of customer database.
  • Manage online business information (Google My Business) and reputation including Google reviews, Yelp, and other review platforms.
  • Advanced in MS Excel and PowerPoint - create spreadsheets and presentations.

Education/Experience:

MA or equivalent; or 6-12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial and performance reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Math Ability:

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise team members in the Marketing Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Bosley’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
