Jr. Account Manager (Manufacturing experience required)

Pay rate: $19-$27 depending on experience

Job summary
Plans and coordinates contractual activities with the customers; interfaces with customer on all account-related issues.

• Handles interface between company and assigned customer; provides customer with a focal communication point
• Confers with customer regularly in order to answer questions, enquire on needs, and review the status of the account
• Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, cost estimates of material, equipment, and production, in order to ensure that company can meet customer’s needs
• Performs the timely and accurate entry in ERP/MRP system of information necessary to the planning, production, and delivery of customer’s product; such information includes sales order details, work order release
• Assists sales representatives in the development of new business
• Takes direction from the Account Manager IV (Senior Account Manager)
• Logs customers’ requests-for-quotes and updates status
• Assesses requests for, issues, and processes Return Materials Authorizations to customers
• Closes work orders and invoices customers
• May participate in internal and external Quality Management System audits Must have:
• Excellent organizational skills: must be able to keep track of several accounts, with many quotes and orders being processed concurrently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English: must be able to interact effectively with customers by email, phone, or in person, while keeping a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
• Strong technical knowledge of electronics

Skills

• Working knowledge of office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with the concepts, processes, and components of printed circuit board assemblies

Education and Experience
