The Managing Director is the highest-ranking manager at the branch level in the Innova Solutions organization. The role is to be a strategist and a leader.

The MD is responsible for the overall success of the business in his or her branch. The MD controls and oversees all business operations, people, and ventures for their branch. The MD is able to steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission, and long-term goals. On an ongoing basis, the MD monitors and proactively analyzes internal and external events that affect the branch and provides strategic initiatives for both short-term tactics and long-term positioning. At the branch, the MD is responsible for attending meetings, networking events, and driving new business development through his or her staff and client relationships. The MD is also responsible for staff training and development, including both recruiting and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trains Account Manager's
  • In coordination with the executive team, manages annual operating budget and plans for the branch to include sales goals, profit projections, capital requirements and staffing requirements. This includes managing sales and their individual performance quotas.
  • Continuously works to develop a strong talent pool of internal candidates for recruiting and sales positions.
  • Responsible for maintaining client satisfaction, consultant engagement and retention.
  • Responsible for the branch territory plan, targeting the right mix of business to meet the overall goals of the branch and the company.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
  • In conjunction with the branch's Recruiting Manager or Lead, reviews requirement assignments and metric-driven reports for staff.
  • Interacts with Operations, Finance and Legal teams to handle issues pertaining to exemptions, onboarding, rate discrepancies, contracts, etc.
  • Counsels employees and conducts corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensures company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and are followed in the branch at all times.

Daily Functions:

  • Runs/manages branch board meetings.
  • Coaches AM's on a daily basis and sets their schedules and performance goals.
  • In conjunction with the Recruiting Manager, assumes overall responsibility for sourcing, hiring, training, and coaching of recruiting and sales personnel.
  • Reviews recruiter allocation and sourcing strategy with the Recruiting Director/Manager or Lead.
  • Makes sales calls.
  • Conducts role-plays with AM's
  • Creates pipelines for entry level and experienced staff.
  • Interviews candidate.
  • Ad hoc check-ins with staff, building a culture of accountability.
  • Reviews and approves assignment records if the Recruiting Manager or Lead is not available.
  • Manages the branch's daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activities to ensure its overall profitability and success.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assists staff with candidate hiring/onboarding processes in accordance with client/organizational requirements.
  • Resolves and escalates any client/candidate issues at the branch level.
  • Reports violations of company policies, safety policies and the misappropriation of company assets.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior work experience in sales and recruiting delivery roles with an emphasis on sales (e.g., Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Sales Lead, Sales Director).
  • Five (5) plus years of previous experience in IT Staffing.
  • Experience in dealing with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM software (JobDiva preferred but not required).
