Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Student Services Administrative Assistant for a new opening with our client located in the Triad. The Student Services Administrative Assistant should have a background in a higher education environment and will provide front and back office support within a key department, as well as supporting upper level administrators.

Responsibilities:

Provide office coverage and front desk reception duties
Assist students in appointment setting and sending appointment reminders
Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director
Assist in purchasing and maintaining inventory of office supplies
Process incoming work orders and handle mail distribution
Record minutes of staff meetings and assist in planning events
Provide phone support, transferring calls and taking messages as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred (but not required)
Prior administrative experience within a higher education environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
