Summary of Duties
The Administrative Assistant serves as a key support member of the camp team by providing administrative, organizational, and communication support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role assists with coordination, documentation, scheduling, and office tasks while helping maintain a welcoming and professional environment. The Administrative Assistant supports leadership and departments by helping manage details efficiently and stewarding information with excellence and discretion.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to supervisors and department leaders through scheduling, communication, and task coordination.
  • Assist with organization and upkeep of office systems, including filing, record keeping, and document management.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Prepare and maintain documents, spreadsheets, rosters, reports, forms, and correspondence as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including scheduling, agendas, notes, and follow-up communication.
  • Assist with data entry, tracking, and maintaining accurate information in camp systems.
  • Help ensure office spaces are organized, stocked, and functioning well (supplies, printing needs, etc.).
  • Work closely with other departments to assist with administrative needs and communication flow.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the camp by completing time-sensitive tasks with excellence and follow-through.

Compensation
Compensation for this position is funded through Ministry Partner Development (MPD). A salary goal will be established, and Life Action Ministries will provide the training, coaching, and resources needed to help you build a team of ministry partners to reach that goal.
All approved ministry-related business expenses are covered by Life Action Ministries.
