Registered Nurse (RN)

This is for a full-time staff nurse position.

The staff nurse acts as a resource to referral sources, patients, and community home health agencies on issues related to infusion therapies provided to patients by the franchised pharmacy. The staff nurse, as permitted by state licensure regulations, will also provide direct patient care to infusion therapy patients, and is responsible to assess actual and potential patient problems, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in coordination with the registered pharmacist. The staff nurse has an active patient education role, and interacts extensively with the pharmacy staff to plan and implement patient scheduling, deliveries, and clinical assessment.

• 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday
• This is an in-office position with no remote capabilities
• Hourly Pay: $38 dependent on experience

This position requires direct patient care provided both in the infusion suite setting at the site location, as well as in the patient home. This includes but is not limited to: IV site access and care, medication administration (IV, subcutaneous, IM), and patient and caregiver teaching and training. Travel to patient homes in the service area will be expected.

Requirements

• Required: Registered Nurse licensure in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Required: A minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience
• Required: A minimum of one 2 year experience in acute care
• Required: Excellent interactive skills with patients, physicians, referral sources, and employees

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Critical Care Nursing: 3-5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN license (Required)
