CDR General Services is seeking a Shipping Department Manager to join our team in Port Allen, LA. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong bilingual leader with a proven ability to manage personnel, enforce policies, improve processes, and drive productivity in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Details

Job Location: Port Allen
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25.00+ per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Sunday


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of 10–12 employees
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Coach, train, and develop team members on processes and performance expectations
  • Address attendance, performance, and disciplinary issues, including documenting and issuing corrective actions when necessary
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions
