Job Position: Shipping Helper
Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70814
Description: Shipping Helper
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
AMMON Staffing is hiring a Shipping Helper for a busy warehouse. We are seeking a dependable, hands-on individual with experience using basic hand tools and measuring materials. This position requires someone who is comfortable performing physical work in a warehouse environment and assisting with shipping operations.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include building wooden pallets, accurately measuring and cutting wood, using drills and other hand tools, assisting with packaging products for shipment, and loading and unloading materials. Candidates will also help maintain an organized work area and support the shipping department as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience cutting wood, measuring, and using a drill is required.
Measuring assessment is required.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving materials throughout the day.
Must have a current resume.
Physical and drug screen required.
