Administrative Assistant at ALAMO BARBER & BEAU SUP

As an administrative assistant at Alamo Barber & Beauty Supply, you’ll be working directly with the owner and store staff to provide clerical support by managing and maintaining office operations, correspondence with vendors, and performing basic book keeping and data entry duties.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls to correct personnel/department
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
• Perform bookkeeping duties
• Schedule meetings and maintain calendar
• Note-taking during meetings
• Prepare & monitor invoices
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
• Write emails on behalf of other office staff
• Manage wholesale applications and accounts
• Create invoices for wholesale accounts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Proficient in MS and Google Suite 
• Strong Organizational & planning skills
• Prior experience of admin or clerical work not required but preferred

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation depends on your experience.
