Job Role
ProgenyHealth is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Accounts (Sales) who will report to the SVP of Sales and will be responsible for selling Progeny Health’s solutions and services. The ideal candidate should be comfortable and well-versed in all aspects of selling from lead generation and cold calling to handling sophisticated business development meetings with C-Suite level clients. The content and intellectual property that is developed by our expert teams at ProgenyHealth is complex and sophisticated. The Vice President, Strategic Accounts will exemplify intellectual curiosity, resilience, a passion for excellence, strong ability to be collaborative and willingness to embrace new challenges in a growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive lead generation efforts through a variety of direct and indirect engagement strategies, including direct sales & relationship building with prospective client managers to display our broad range of solutions and services.
- Use a solution sales approach: conduct full life cycle sales activities from identifying, prospecting, qualifying, pricing, demonstrating value, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement an annual sales plan for region and work in coordination with Sales Team strategy to achieve overall personal & company revenue goals.
- Maintain sales prospect data in company sales software system so various sales associates can use this to work as a team as our sales force grows.
- Truly embrace and maintain superior awareness of the challenges and nuances of health systems; monitor customer and competitor trends and articulate the innovative solutions that ProgenyHealth can provide to clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our solution content. Engage and educate prospects of the value proposition of our solutions and services to their business.
- Meet or exceed revenue goals while maintaining expenses within budget.
- Prepare & review target progress report weekly
- Provide as needed support to RFP’s. Develop and prepare responses with the appropriate ProgenyHealth leadership team members and develop and deliver proposals/presentation to prospects within time limits.
- Represent ProgenyHealth at industry events, trade shows, thought leadership activities, as needed.
- Consistently analyze sales activity and pipeline. Identify and recommend strategies to improve sales performance and ensure ProgenyHealth remains competitive in the market.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts and other related communications as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, business, or public service, Master’s degree preferred
- 15+ years outside field sales experience with a proven track record in sales preferred
- Proven negotiation and closing skills in a challenging and competitive environment, healthcare preferred.
- Strong experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics
- Strong understanding of networking via social media
- Ability to travel as needed
- Exemplary interpersonal and relationship building skills are required. Professional presence to sell to prospects at all leadership levels
- Strong intellectual leadership and management skills, with an entrepreneurial attitude and collaborative work style.
