As a vice president of food & beverage, you oversee food and beverage service for a restaurant or other hospitality business. Vice presidents are executive-level employees, so, in this role, you manage food service operations for your employer. As part of your duties, you manage product development, set menus, and come up with a business and development strategy for brands. Other responsibilities include setting policies and procedures for food and beverage service and ensuring that employees always meet service standards. Often, a chain of restaurants, hotels, or resorts hires a VP of food and beverage to oversee operations at all locations.
