Intelinair is seeking a talented Territory Manager! At Intelinair we exist to help growers and agronomists improve crop performance. Our customers are able to see, for the first time ever, their emergence, weeds, yield risks, and more mapped out across their entire farming operation and delivered to them in an easy-to-consume app.

What do our Territory Managers do?

• Our Territory Managers create and develop business with Ag retailers, manufacturers, equipment vendors, and farmers while identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.

• Our farmers rely on Intelinair Territory Managers to help them interpret and utilize AgMRI to identify yield limiting factors, address in-season problems, and improve their management practices as trusted advisors.

• Our partners rely on their Intelinair Account Managers to interpret and leverage the power, analytics, alerts and actionable insights of AgMRI to provide better service to their customers, grow their business, and make their lives easier.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with a highly versatile set of industry leading partners including farmers, seed dealers, ag retailers, and more. You will develop strong relationships through a broad spectrum of influential ag personnel.

• Willing to travel throughout territory, visiting Ag retailers and growers to explain, demonstrate and troubleshoot our products.

• Grow the business within the territory while maintaining our partnership with existing customers.

• Demonstrate strong business acumen, learning agility and understanding of the ag business.

• Develops and executes assigned specific sales strategies and plans to maximize sales volume and profitability in accordance with the organization's financial plan and brand strategies.

• Develops and executes multi-faceted customer relationship strategy for related market responsibility. Demonstrates strategic thinking and leadership to achieve desired results.

• Will gain a solid understanding of our technology (AGMRI) platforms and can articulate what the best customer solutions are based on their unique needs. Effectively communicate that message to customers through the ag retail channel partners.

• Work in an unrestricted, self-starter environment that encourages creative thinking and initiative. You will contribute directly to the expansion of a leading ag tech business.

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and serve as a single point of contact for their immediate and ongoing needs. This also includes answering existing and potential customer/client requests for inquiries in the process of purchasing AGMRI.

• Have a solid understanding of the marketplace, related crops, farm operations, and ag retailers and can quickly get enough depth of knowledge based on customers' identified needs to effectively align our products and services to negotiate the best agreement in conjunction with the retail network.

• Retail Mindset: Operates with a consumer perspective or end user and retail channel in mind. This includes training retailers, assisting them in driving sales through the alignment of product, marketing, and ROI.

• Business Development: Applies a consultative, business advisory approach to partner with ag retailers to identify opportunities for business development and/or improvements to sales and service. Understands competitive product, pricing and trends.

• Trusted Advisor: Able to recommend most appropriate solutions to enable our dealers to effectively engage customers with the brand (e.g. programs, events, product launches, initiatives, and development of customized end user solutions)

• Change Agent: Guides both internal and external stakeholders through both current and future change & transition, by leading through their own behaviors. Maintains team focus on delivering future state, and continuously improving by working in new ways.

• Consulting Skill: providing expertise, advice, methodologies, and problem solving

• Relationship Management: Builds appropriate report and builds common ground that creates trust

• Team Oriented: working with team cross functional team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Participate in weekly meetings, voicing concerns as well as suggestions for improvement. Answering or escalating concerns and queries from growers and retailers or other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Ag related field or related agricultural industry sales or crop advising experience

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the agricultural industry

• Aptitude in mobile apps and new technology (3-5 years selling technology preferred)

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple key tasks

• Must be willing to live and travel in territory accessible area

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

• Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or Holiday hours and overnight travel

• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and valid insurance

• Experience using support CRM system such as Monday.com, Salesforce or related platforms for account management

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time while servicing customers.

• Ability to operate a vehicle for multiple hours.
